About Response Rate

Response % 

The percentage of times a Subscriber replied to a message from the system for which a Flow Reply was configured. Any response to successfully delivered messages will be calculated. Response Rate is calculated for you in the Metrics Bar of the following AnalyitcsPRO reports: Console Trends, Console Activity and Broadcast Activity.

(Flow Replies + Unknown Replies + Help Replies + Stop Replies to messages successfully delivered which have a flow reply) / (Count of campaign messages successfully delivered which have a flow reply)

Why does Response Rate matter?

Response % is an important statistic to analyze because it gives your team insight to how your audience is interacting with your campaigns. The response rate informs you, what percent of the time you can expect subscribers to "respond" to a question asked by your team, using automated broadcasts.

If you have a low response rate, (less than 50%), you may want to look into updating your campaign messages. Feedback from your subscribers is the best way to figure out why they might not be engaging with you. Is your message too long? Is it confusing? Is the message not clear and concise? 

Low response rate can also happen if your team is not getting good contact information from your audience. Broadcast Activity report breaks down the Not Reached members to tell you why they are not receiving your mobile communication. To learn more about how you can improve your Console Reachability, click HERE
