The Benefits of Adding Documents to Messages
Text messages are an excellent way to link your audience to a richer and more user-friendly experience, such as downloading files hosted online. Links can give patients and employees access to websites, instructional videos, surveys and other content hosted on the web. Using links in your messages is a another great way to stay engaged with your subscribers by enabling them to download exclusive content. Click-through rates on text message links rival anything being seen via email.

Adding Links to Your Messages
1. Copy the URL provided as a sharable link. Please make sure that the privacy settings for your file allow for anyone with the link to view and download the document.
2. Paste the shareable link into the setups for your Campaign, Ad-Hoc Broadcast or Direct Text message with helpful language encouraging your audience to select the link.
3. We recommend sending a test message to your console users first to make sure the shareable link is functioning appropriately.
After you obtain your shareable link we recommend inputting your shareable link into a URL shortening tool. After you received your shortened URL link, use that link in your Campaign, Ad-Hoc Broadcast or Direct Text message. You're truly able to maximize your message potential with the amount of characters you save per message in addition to having access to reportable metrics such as number of clicks or downloads depending on the URL Shortening tool you choose.
