Comparing Console Role Privileges
This article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the permissions and restrictions associated with every tier of console role offered within the Dialog Health platform.
Console User
This level of access offers the most restricted set of permissions within your Dialog Health console.
Permissions:
- Generate and dispatch Ad-Hoc Broadcasts
- Send a direct text message to a participant
- Review and create reports from Inbox, Outbox, Reports, and AnalyticsPRO
- Engage with incoming messages
- Add/Edit participant information
- Add/Edit appointment/event information
Restrictions:
- Excluded from viewing, creating, and editing Campaign Broadcast messages
- No access or interaction with elements located within the Setup tab
- Unable to request or remove user accounts to Dialog Health
Console Manager
The Console Manager has more flexibility with viewing/editing Campaign Broadcasts as well as extended permissions to the Setup tab.
Permissions:
- All functions achievable by a Console User, alongside...
- Inspect and modify Campaign Broadcast messages
- View/Edit options found in the setup tab
- View Keywords
- View Templates
- View Opt-in Groups
- Review the list of users and lock/unlock user accounts
- Adjust Preferences
Restrictions:
- Inability to create new Campaigns or Broadcast Messages within a Campaign
- Cannot create or edit Keywords within the Setup tab
- Cannot create or edit messaging templates within the Setup tab
- Ineligible to add or edit opt-in groups
- Dialog Health will not accept requests for the addition/removal of users of team members with Manager access
Console Admin
Administrative access is the highest level of user access in the Dialog Health platform.
Permissions:
- Administrators possess the capability to execute all functions available in the Dialog Health platform.
- They may also delete user accounts as well as request new user accounts to be added to Dialog Health by contacting our support line.

Restrictions:
- Administrators lack the authority to directly append or create new user accounts within Dialog Health. Nonetheless, admins can contact our support line to request additional user roles within their designated console.
